She Has Amassed Numerous of Pokémon Drainage Hole Cards, and Nothing Can Halt Her.
The makers of Pokémon unveiled the world to the trading card game DP set back in 2007, including the Bonsly card. On this artwork, the fourth generation rock-type is portrayed by designer Midori Harada in an unusual pose. Here, the predecessor to Sudowoodo is depicted fallen and crying. However, don't mistake this, yet. Like its ability the move Fake Tears, Bonsly aims to manipulate the other player's mood in the hopes of decreasing their offensive power. The Entire Assortment and Its Highlights
However, that's not everything she has also. She has acquired twenty reverse holographic editions of the Bonsly card, which depicts the tyke with shiny foil everywhere but the central artwork. The crown jewel, however, proves to be the PSA 6-graded reverse holo of Bonsly. Admittedly, it's not a mint-condition original Charizard card. Origins of the Collection
She invested most of the current year accumulating every 2007 Bonsly card that she could locate. She first heard about the out-of-print card in recent months, while debating the most infamous cards in the Pokémon TCG with an employee at a local shop. The weeping Omanyte was considered, as was the forever alone Cubone at the theme park. But it was The sobbing Bonsly, also known as card number 17, which captured Hopkins's attention.
Behind Bonsly's Look
The design of Bonsly is based by bonsai plants, which are typically planted in planters featuring holes for drainage. These holes are intended to help the plant grow, to the extent that enthusiasts suggest to peers to add holes into their pots when none are present. Additionally, bonsai may sit on low dishes hole-free, known as suiban, where the water stays could aid growers arrange their bonsai to mimic nature vistas. Bonsly fits the initial category, thus the hole exists.
Why Bonsly Stands Out

She adopted a routine of visiting the nearby card store on a weekly basis, and earned the nickname among the staff as "Bonsly Girl". They started reserving all incoming this specific card it received aside just for Hopkins. The majority of these go for a few dollars, she says, approximating her total expenditure is approximately four hundred dollars for the collection book.
The Financial Side
Currently, pristine Bonsly #71 cards may reach prices of around fifteen dollars. While that's on the higher end, run-of-the-mill copies tend to cost $4 and above. "The amazing thing is certain fans and fans from her channel have sent their own Bonsly cards her way to add to my collection, and they will remain them secure indefinitely," Emily states. Instead of being put off, viewers feel admiration and motivation by this project.
